Guests of the Anchor D Guiding & Outfitting enjoy horseback riding in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. Half day or full day trail rides out of the Ranch are offered, or a four to seven day horseback vacation into the wilderness of the Continental Divide. Horses, cook, meals, wranglers, guides, tents, cots and foamies are all supplied on the overnight trips. Special Weekender Packages, Great Divide Rides and Lost Trail Trips are available. Other activities offered include winter hay and sleigh rides and fall big-game hunting.

Located 50 miles southwest of Calgary, Anchor D High Mountain Hunts offers horseback hunting trips for elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose and black bear. Hunting season runs from mid-September until the end of November and either camping or lodge accommodations are offered.
